Tilak is very important in the scriptures. The word Tilak is derived from the sesame verb of Sanskrit.Which means, the summarize or conclusion, takeing everything know in short timeing According to the scriptures and Vedas, in the middle of Tilak head, saffron or red color of applied between two eyebrows. Because according to Ayurveda and science, there is a pituitary gland between the two eyebrows. Which is same to nectar, it means that all the verbs in the brain are through this gland. Therefore, the chemistry of this gland is similar to the nectar. When a saffron or red color tilak is applied in the middle of the head, it increases the ability of humans to think and think. According to the scriptures and Vedas, Tilak has two rules, Tilak is always applied for worship and any auspicious task. And the Kumkum Roli is used in Tilak.
Rice is used as an intact. But fragmented rice, i.e broken broken pieces of rice, are not included in the tilak process. In fact, the red color of Tilak is the symbol of Life redness and blood redness. Also the red color is the color of love too. Therefore rice is also included in Tilak. Tilak of Akshat is accepted as glow. That is, whose never decay, Along with this there is sattvik quality in rice white color. Which is considered to be a symbol of wisdom, coolness and light. Without light of knowledge, love power is nonsensical. And red color is a symbol of the power and the saffron color is a symbol of sharpness. Therefore, in Tilak process, tilak is applied by adding red and saffron color and akshat. So that knowledge, intelligence, power and light can be included in the person's thoughts.
